Classically grounded. With heart
For me, music is an art – and at the same time a language of the heart and a constant companion throughout life.
As a pianist and educator with international training, I accompany children, adolescents, and adults on their very personal musical journey.
The pedagogical foundation of my teaching is rooted in two great traditions:
the Russian piano school and the European piano school – both of which have been leading authorities in cultivated, profound piano playing for generations. I had the privilege of studying these traditions from the ground up and completed my education with diplomas from conservatories in Ukraine and Germany.
Individual instruction at the highest level
At the heart of my teaching lies a high-calibre classical piano education, individually tailored to each student – to their personality, abilities, and goals. Solid technique, conscious tone production, and deep musical understanding are central to every phase of instruction.
In addition to classical training, I also teach the fundamentals of practical piano skills, including:
basic music theory
sight-reading
free, stylistically appropriate accompanying and arranging, e.g. of Christmas carols, children’s songs, or modern pop pieces
Working with children and adolescents is particularly close to my heart. I aim to nurture and broaden their musical taste with sensitivity, stimulate their imagination, and show them how rich and diverse the world of music is – far beyond the everyday.
Concert experience & musical practice
At least once a year, I organize a private or public student concert, offering my students the valuable opportunity to gain stage experience and to share music with others.
In addition, my piano class regularly performs in various public institutions, including cultural department stores, retirement homes, hospitals, and schools. These performances foster not only musical confidence, but also social awareness, stage presence, and the joy of making music for others.
Media skills & modern presentation
Upon request, I also offer my students professional audio and video recordings.
I support them in creating their own YouTube channels in order to present and document their musical work in a contemporary way and make it accessible to a wider audience.

Paths that music can open
Depending on individual wishes and development, I accompany my students along very different paths:
music as a lifelong hobby, a source of balance and inner strength
preparation for piano competitions
preparation for studies at a music conservatory or for a university degree in music education (didactics)
Music as a philosophy of life
If I were to summarize my teaching and its goals in one thought, I would quote Friedrich W. Nietzsche: “Without music, life would be a mistake.”
Practical information
For children and adolescents, only regular weekly lessons are offered.
Adults may book individual lessons.
